YARD 2026: Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler & Chris Stussy Lead Portugal
Dopamine Machine Records · May 13, 2026
Portugal has quietly built one of the more thoughtful festival propositions in European dance music, and YARD Festival's 2026 edition makes the argument emphatically. Set for 21–24 May in Azeitão — within the region's distinctive White Sand Mountains — YARD has finalised a four-day lineup that leans hard into house, minimal, and leftfield electronic music, headlined by Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, and Chris Stussy.
Four Days, Three Headliners, One Reason to Go
This year marks YARD's expansion to a four-day format for the first time, and the extra runway shows in the programming. Rather than packing each slot, the scheduling breathes — each day carries a distinct character, with the booking strategy moving from deeper, slower-burn sets early in the week toward peak-time headline moments as the weekend builds.
Friday the 22nd belongs largely to Seth Troxler and Chris Stussy, appearing separately alongside Julia Sandstorm and the live act Monolink. Stussy — whose debut album Lost Found Forgotten reframed what tech house could sound like when it has something to say — is squarely in his element at a festival that prizes substance over spectacle. Troxler needs no reframing; at YARD, he's in the kind of setting where his discursive, low-end-heavy selector approach makes the most sense.
Jamie Jones Takes Saturday Night
The Saturday headline slot goes to Jamie Jones, bringing his melodic house sensibility to what shapes up as the most considered evening of the four. The Saturday bill also features Ahmed Spins, Gui Boratto, Salome Le Chat, and Jackson — a lineup that rewards patience and punishes anyone who shows up just for the headliner. Jones has been in resurgent form heading into the summer, with his Paradise: Starship Eden residency at UNVRS Ibiza generating significant pre-season attention; a YARD outdoor slot feels like the natural outdoor counterpart to that club-focused run.
Sunday's Crossover Closing
Sunday wraps the festival with its most crossover-oriented programming: Bonobo tops the bill alongside RY X (live) and Parov Stelar, pulling the music toward live performance and post-club atmospheric territory. It's a deliberate choice to end on a different frequency — one that keeps YARD from being categorised as a straight house festival while maintaining the sonic coherence that has made it a fixture on the European calendar.
What Separates YARD From the Field
The festival's location is genuinely unusual. Azeitão's White Sand Mountains sit within the Setúbal region south of Lisbon, and YARD spreads its stages across multiple distinct sites — including a historic castle and a coastal park. It's not a festival-in-a-field operation. Programming runs alongside large-scale art installations, including collaborations with Burning Man camps Favela and Tierra Bomba, though the music is firmly the anchor.
For the house and underground electronic contingent, the full lineup — which includes Amrita Bhaskar, Perote, Rhama, Anthöny, and Lemurian across the four days — reads like a carefully balanced A&R decision: credible without being austere, accessible without pandering. It's the kind of bill where you go for the headliners and stay for the discovery slots.
YARD Festival 2026 runs 21–24 May in Azeitão, Portugal. Tickets are available via Shotgun and Beatport Tickets. Full stage-by-stage scheduling is at yard-events.com. With the Ibiza season still weeks away and the summer festival circuit only beginning to heat up, YARD 2026 is making an early case for the year's most essential house-forward weekend.
